How to setup Magnet detector Control panels in repeating mode

Conditions

Two control panels (CP) have connections if following conditions are performed:

1. they are both powered up
2. they are paired together
3. they 'see' each other in corresponding frequency band. The distance between them is 30 – 50m under normal conditions. This distance can be narrower in buildings with many iron elements, thick walls or under high level of radio interference. Distance can be higher up to 250 m in open spaces.

Indication

Control panels indicate current connection to other CPs with blinking (period 0.5 s) of upper LEDs from 10th to 1st. For example

1. CP1 is connected with CP2 - LED 10 on CP1 is blinking
2. CP2 is connected with CP1 - LED 10 on CP2 is blinking, and CP2 is connected to CP3 - LED 9 on CP 2 is blinking (CP1 and CP3 were connected to CP2 in order 1,3)
3. CP3 is connected with CP2 - LED 10 on CP3 is blinking

Described indications of connections between control panels can be used for choosing current distance between control panels. If corresponded LED blinks slower and not periodically or if it does not blink it means that CPs should be installed closer to each other.

Pairing Procedure

MD sensor with MD CP

The procedure of pairing magnet sensor and control panel is same as before.

To pair two control panels do the following:

1. Place devices to each other on less that 2m distance.
2. On first CP shortly press connect button, then pair LED (yellow) will blink slowly (approximately one time per second) for 30 seconds or till success pairing;
3. On second CP hold the mode button and shortly press connect button, then pair LED (yellow) will blink fast (approximately five time per second) for 30 second or till success pairing;
4. After success pairing yellow LEDs will light-off and CP beeps one time. If you connect panels in circle (CP1 -> … -> CP1), they will be continually beeping. Do not do this.
5. After pairing, you may set the desired beep mode by mode button.
