Initial configuration

While in some cases sensors and central units may contain the configuration information used for factory testing, it is necessary to erase (reset) them before new installation.

Reseting of the sensor

• unscrew the two screws on the back cover of the sensor, remove the cover
• remove the battery from the battery compartment
• press together buttons 1 and 2 (see the sensor ) and keeping them down insert the battery. Wait till the sensor will switch to active mode (see the sensor )
• release buttons 1 and 2, indicator LEDs 1 and 2 will flash
• reboot the sensor by removing and inserting the battery and wait till it is in active mode

Reseting of the central unit

• unplug the power supply of the central unit
• wait for about 15 seconds to fully discharge the internal electrical circuits
• press the button «Connect» (see the central unit ) and keeping it down plug the power supply
• the central unit confirms the erasing process by lighting up the yellow LED «PAIR»

Connecting the sensors with the central unit

• make sure that the sensor and central unit are switched on (central unit with power supply, sensor with battery inserted) and the back cover is removed from the sensor
• locate previously reseted sensor and central unit at a distance less than 50 cm between them
• press the button «Connect» (see the central unit ) on the central unit - yellow LED «PAIR» should start to blink
• press together both buttons 1 and 2 (see the sensor ) on the sensor board – the pairing process will start and both LEDs 1 and 2 will light up
• in the event of successful connection performance the yellow LED on the central unit and both sensor LED’s will turn off
• make tests with a detacher close to the sensor to make sure it will be detected. Corresponding red LED (1 - 10) on the central unit should light up for 10 seconds.
• The central unit assigns the indication channel number (red LED’s from 1 to 10) to the sensors automatically in order of registration process (i.е. the first registered sensor will be assigned to channel 1, the second sensor to channel 2 etc.).

IMPORTANT! To prevent possible wiretapping of the configuration information the registration process and the connection performance between sensor and central unit is to be carried out at minimum wireless communication. Therefore the distance between the sensor and central unit should be minimal.
